Family Pets Survive House Fire | KTXL FOX40

RIO LINDA-

A home in Rio Linda burned Thursday morning; the couple who lived there were at work and family pets were rescued.

Around 7 a.m. firefighters were called to the home along 8th Street. Neighbors were outside and watched as crews knocked down the flames.

Witnesses told FOX40 they thought the fire was electrical related, possibly some malfunction above the house on the power lines.

Sacramento Metro firefighters are still investigating and would not comment on the cause of the fire.

A turtle and dog were saved, and are doing ok.
